All services provided to you by Clet Name Service (“CNS”, “Clet”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), including Clet Name Service website located at www.clet.domains, are subject to the following Terms of Use ("TOU"). Clet Name Service (CNS) reserves the right to update the TOU at any time without notice to you. It is the responsibility of the user to check the TOU periodically for changes. The most current version of the TOU can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms of Use" hypertext link located at the bottom of our Web pages. Continued use of Clet's services and website following any amendments to the TOU will mean that the user accepts and agrees to the changes.


Description of Service

Clet is a decentralized web3 name service and a web3 universal profile solution. With Clet, you only require “one name to rule them all.” The nomenclature ensures that users easily access, share and retrieve information from their clet names. The structure also allows developers to utilize and integrate the service seamlessly onto their platforms. You should be what you say you are everywhere! Clet serves as a single source of truth for digital identity.
Clet mitigates the risks of crypto assets going to the wrong address due to typos in longer, more complex addresses, which results in losing funds forever. Clet users can purchase unique names and map a wide range of crypto addresses, social links and other useful information. For instance, Bob may purchase bob as a unique name and map his bitcoin, ethereum and tron address. Hence, Bob's addresses will be bob.btc as his bitcoin address, bob.eth as his ethereum address and bob.trx as his tron address respectively. Also Bob may decide to purchase roses to represent his Roses music album and map his website, spotify, Apple Music links to the name.
Users have the ability to map the following information to a single name:

  1. Profile: Name, Description, Image, Phone and Email.
  2. Blockchain: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Solana, Tron, Ripple, Cardano, Polkadot, Stellar, Litecoin, Algorand, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, Dash, and VeChain.
  3. Essentials: Website, IP Address, Location, and Contract Address.
  4. Socials: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Twitch, Discord, Telegram, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  5. Extra: Spotify, Apple Music, OpenSea, and Linktree.

Clet provides relevant utility tools that ensure smooth and convenient resolution of clet names anywhere. Our helpful tools are as below:
  • The Clet Browser Extension - The Extension is designed for PC users to quickly resolve Clet names in their browsers. It is easily downloadable on the Clet website or added via the browser's Manage Extensions icon/tab.
  • Bob The Clettor - A fast and convenient bot that resolves Clet names on Twitter and Discord once summoned.


Intellectual Property

All sorts of intellectual property such as: graphics, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, music, artwork, and computer code, including its arrangement, contained on the website are owned and controlled by or to Clet. The website and/or any intellectual property listed in this section may not be copied, reverse engineered, reproduced, republished, posted, publicly displayed, or distributed in any way (including "mirroring") to any other computer, server, or website for commercial purposes, without prior written consent from Clet.
You may use information on Clet's products and services (such as blog posts, and similar materials) purposely made available by Clet for downloading on the condition that you do not use such information for commercial purposes and make no modifications to any such information.


Limits on Liability

As far as the applicable law permits, Clet or any authorized CNS personnel will in no way be liable to you for any of the following:

  • 1. Unauthorized use of your wallet address.
  • 2. Lost profits, data loss, revenue, or any punitive damages.
  • 3. Loss of Clet name due to failure to renew subscription.

Disclaimer

The Clet Name Service does not guarantee that there will be no errors and/or interruptions on the website or extension. Further, Clet does not guarantee a specific result in the use of the website and/or extension. Clet reserves the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice:

  • 1. To modify or change any part of the website and any other applicable terms and policies.
  • 2. To interrupt website and extension operations as necessary to perform maintenance, error correction and other changes.
  • 3. To contact any user in the case where another individual or entity is interested in acquiring the user's name.


Unlawful or Prohibited Use

As a condition of use of Clet and its related services, users must desist from using the Services for any unlawful activities. The user must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any of the Clet services and other user accounts through hacking or any other illegal means.
